Thursday, February 6th and Friday, February 7th

We left gloomy Columbus, Ohio around 4:45 PM for our direct flight to LAX, Los Angeles, California.  We touched down, local time, around 6:30 PM.  We have about 4 hours before our flight to Auckland, New Zealand!

We left Los Angeles on time for our almost 13-hour flight!  Below is our view during our flight.

On Friday, we flew over the Pacific Ocean and crossed the International Date line! Our total flight miles will be around 6,500 miles!

Looking out an exit row little window was this amazing view of the moon.  We couldn’t capture with our cameras how spectacular it was!  It will be a picture that we’ll keep in our memory forever.

After we crossed the International Date Line, Friday became Saturday!
